Hina Arshad Warraich of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has won the by-election in constituency PP-52 (Sambryal), securing 78,419 votes, according to unofficial and preliminary results from 185 polling stations.

Her closest rival, Fakhar Nishat Ghumman — backed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) — received 40,037 votes, placing second.

Warraich dedicated her victory to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and the tireless efforts of thePML-N workers.

She stated that the public had voted for the politics of service and that development and resolution of local issues would remain a top priority.
