The 5th Islamabad Marathon saw a spectacular display of athleticism and sportsmanship as Pakistan Army's Israr Khattak emerged victorious in the full marathon category.

Sohail Amir secured the title in the half marathon, while Atiq ur Rehman triumphed in the 5-kilometer race. In the women’s marathon, Norway's athlete claimed the top spot.

Over 3,000 participants, including international athletes, competed in various categories, drawing large crowds of enthusiastic spectators.

The marathon, held against the breathtaking backdrop of the Margalla Hills, offered four categories and showcased the talents of both local and international athletes. Mohammad Ikram clinched victory in the 10-kilometer race, while Sohail Amir and Atiq ur Rehman shone in their respective categories. Winners expressed their joy and determination to represent Pakistan on an international level if given opportunities.
